About this recording

Young Danish soprano, Sine Bundgaard, presents herself in this charming and interesting solo cd with lieders by Richard Strauss, Alban Berg, Henri Duparc and Francis Poulenc. Sine Bundgaard was elected Danish Radio’s Artist of the Year, 2004, and the young soprano is one to watch on the international scene.

The EMI Debut series was established to offer highly talented young performers the chance to make an internationally released CD. The recordings feature an eclectic array of young artists from around the world, none of whom have recorded before for EMI, and most of whom have never before appeared on disc - "investing in the future of young artists" was how the Sunday Times aptly described the venture.
